In a survey conducted by Mind, it was found that 56% of employers wanted to do more to improve staff wellbeing in the workplace – a sentiment echoed by Rainbow Cosmetics’ leadership team. With Mental Health Awareness Day providing an excellent opportunity to add to the wider conversation around mental health stigma in the workplace, Rainbow Cosmetics joined forces with YOLO Wellbeing to treat our employees to some well-needed time out.
YOLO Wellbeing is a mobile sensory experience that combines mindful meditation with massage. By bringing together three key elements that create a unique sensory experience, Rainbow employees were treated to a fifteen-minute head and neck massage that left them relaxed, refreshed and more focused. Taking time out from the working day is beneficial not only for productivity and mindset, but also for mental health and stress relief: something of key importance not only on Mental Health Awareness Day, but all year long.
