Burberry launched Weekend for Women by Burberry in 1997 as a floral fragrance for women. The notes behind the fragrance were created by Nathalie Lorson. The fragrance inspires to be a relaxing, powdery fragrance that is dedicated to the weekend a relaxing country style scent. Weekend for Women by Burberry opens up with a sweet yet zesty top notes of mignonette, mandarin orange with a hint aromatic blend of sage. It then moves onto floral garden blend of blue hyacinth, peach blossom, rose hip, iris, red cyclamen, violet root with sweet nectarine. It then finishes the scent with a dry down blend of soft musk, sandalwood and cedar. Top notes: Mignonette, mandarin orange and sage. Heart notes: Nectarine, blue hyacinth, peach blossom, rose hip, iris, red cyclamen and violet root Base notes: Musk, sandalwood and cedar.
